The Gaze from the Bicycle
The Gaze from the Bicycle is a photographic project, a documentary archive, and a life experience of Marc Hors and Indira Urrutia during a five-year journey across the American continent by bicycle, from Alaska to Puerto Williams in Chilean Antarctica. Through immersive storytelling and striking photographs, they connect audiences with the resilience, traditions, and challenges of remote communities often overlooked in a rapidly globalizing world.
This project is more than a travel diary; it’s an exploration of universal themes such as self-reliance, perseverance, empathy, and purpose. By sharing stories of connection and transformation, The Gaze from the Bicycle inspires individuals and organizations to embrace resilience, redefine success, and foster meaningful changes in their own lives and communities.
Through their captivating presentations, The Gaze from the Bicycle empowers participants with practical tools, fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of cultural diversity. It is a call to action to celebrate the journey, honor our shared humanity, and build a more empathetic and sustainable future.
